You

I think I can grasp an inkling of what you went through

It happened again

Two people gone but this time you were one of them

Maybe this was how you felt back then

Like you were drowning in ice cold water

The pressure on your lungs

Swallowing melting snow

The sensation that you would be forever stuck in a cave

Or maybe it was more like a void

A void that follows you around

An empty, numb feeling

Maybe it’s both

Can you tell me if it goes away?
